Softball Leagues 

 

Get your team together and sign up early to save! Don't have a team? No worries! Sign up as an "indy" and we'll get a team put together for you.

 

We do our best to make every softball league competitive for you, so no matter if you're new to the game, or a seasoned vet, we've got a league for you. 

 

 

 

Recreational Leagues (UK Division): All about having fun. Most players are familiar with the game and have played before. Strikezones are liberal to encourage swinging the bat and games are typically high scoring.  This league is sure to fill up, so sign up soon!

 

Intermediate Leagues (UL Division): The majority of the players understand the game but some don`t have the talent to compete at the competitive level or are just there to have a good time without all the hassle of overly-competitive people/leagues. Fielders are usuallypretty good and there are a couple big boppers in the league.

 

 

 

Softball Leagues Include:

  • 8 Week League with 2 available rain dates
  • 6 Week Regular Season + playoff tournament
  • Umpires and game balls provided by Sports Monster
  • Teams may have a maximum roster of 18 players & a minimum of 10
  • Coed teams require a minimum 4 females on the field
  • NO Required Male/Female batting order!
  • NO Requirement for men to bat opposite hand!
  • Games are scheduled for 7 innings or one hour time limit
  • League Champions receive a choice of t-shirts or trophy
 

Fees:
-Team Fee
*$41.58 per player Priority Discount Registration for standard roster
*$45.75 per player during Regular Registration for standard roster
*Standard team roster of 12 players
*Extra player fees = $10 for more than 12 players on roster

-Individual
*$59 Priority registration fee per player
*$64 Standard registration fee per player
*Individuals are placed on a team with other individuals or similar skill levels.
*If you want your friends to be placed together, it is fine to register as individuals and reference each other for same team placement. Note that we cannot guarantee same team placement based on supply and demand. And you may also have additional players added to fill roster. If you want to control your roster, register as a full team.
*Maximum roster size of 18.

*1 or 2 week single elimination playoff
*Everyone makes playoffs
*6 guys/4 girls on the field for Coed
*7 Innings or 1 Hour of play
*Prizes for winning teams
*Ref fees included in price

Levels of Play:
*Coed: SMC coed softball leagues are set up for 6 men and 4 women on the field for each team. If male players are missing, a team may opt to field
more than 4 women. If female players are missing during the regular season, it is up to the discretion of the opposing team whether more than five men will be allowed

Facility - Camp Taylor is located of of the 864 exit of I-264. Parking is available off of Redwood Drive.

Uniforms: No Uniform Requirements

Signing up as an individual? Great! Indie teams are formed based on supply and demand and therefore require flexibility for placement. Give us 3 choices of when/where you can play and there is a 95% successful placement rate - or a refund if we cannot. If you are a guy, you need to be flexible for coed or men's. If you are a gal, you need to be flexible for coed or women's. NOTE: YOU MUST list 2nd and 3rd options (if available) in case this first choice doesn't work out. You will be asked for options when you click to register. You can even list an alternate sport if you like - the goal is to get you playing! - but listing an alternate sport or skill level is not a requirement. If you can only play in this program, we recommend that you put a full team together. If you don't list alternate choices, we will place you in the next available same sport/format/skill level and there are no refunds.
